Vishwakarma Yojana Puducherry – The Government of India has recently launched a new scheme for the people of Vishwakarma community. This scheme was started about six months ago, and recently it has been approved by the Central Government. This scheme is aimed at the people of Vishwakarma community, hence it is known as “Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana”. Giving information about the approval of this scheme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Indian public on the 76th Independence Day.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has specified 13 thousand crore rupees in total for this scheme. This money will be utilized over a period of 5 years i.e. from 2023-24 to 2027-28 a total of Rs 13 thousand crore will be invested. This scheme has been specially prepared for the people of Vishwakarma community living in other states including Puducherry. Under this scheme, assistance will be provided to 30 lakh people and they will be encouraged to promote business.

Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana will be launched on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti

On August 15, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was speaking before the nation, he informed that the scheme will be presented on the occasion of the upcoming Vishwakarma Jayanti. Vishwakarma Jayanti is celebrated on 17th September, hence this scheme will be launched on the same day. Vaishnavji told that there are many such villages in India where the people of Vishwakarma community do crafts and handicrafts according to the guru-shishya tradition. All these people will be benefited under Vishwakarma Yojana.

This will benefit 30 lakh craftspeople.

The “PM Vishwakarma Yojana” would last for five years and have a budget of Rs 13,000 crore. Help will be given to 30 lakh persons during the course of this five-year program, from 2023–2024 to 2027–2028.
